Architectural Control Committee
Planning Exterior Improvements?
If you’re considering exterior changes to your home or lot, you’ll need to work with our Architectural Control Committee (ACC) before moving forward. The ACC ensures that all improvements align with the community standards outlined in our Covenants.
The ACC is made up of homeowner volunteers who generously give their time to review requests for projects such as new or replacement fencing, roof repairs or replacements, landscaping changes, and more. Their role is not only to uphold community standards but also to help you succeed with your improvements. With their experience, they can often identify details that may save you time, money, and unnecessary setbacks.
Most requests are reviewed and turned around quickly—often within just a few days. However, the committee does have up to 30 days to make a decision. To help the process move smoothly, please provide as much detail as possible when submitting your request.

Exterior Modifications & Improvement Requests
All exterior modifications or construction projects require prior approval and the submission of an Improvement Request Form.
In accordance with the Association’s recorded Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs), and to protect each homeowner’s rights and property values, any planned exterior change must be submitted to the Threechopt Village Homeowners Association Architectural Control Committee (ACC) before any work begins.
Homeowners are strongly encouraged to review the Master Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions along with all applicable Rules, Regulations, and Architectural Design Standards before submitting a request. This ensures that all projects remain in harmony with the overall appearance and character of our community.
